Mercy Wasike – Facilitator

Mercy recently attained her Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching.  Her current role is  Deputy Chief Nurse within the UK’s National Health Service.  In this role she provides expert senior nursing leadership in support of the Chief Nurse across their entire portfolio. Her background as a qualified teacher and a registered adult nurse are instrumental in the way she works. Mercy’s special interest is in the way people learn for, from, and through work. This was the basis of her MA Research.

Mercy graduated with a Bachelors of Education (Hons) degree from Kenyatta University. She then proceeded to the UK and undertook a Diploma in Adult Nursing (University of Brighton); a Bsc in Nursing (Edinburgh Napier University) and a Masters in Clinical Education (Institute of Education). She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), a Florence Nightingale Leadership scholar, and a Queen’s Nurse.

Outside of work Mercy has interests in projects that enhance the way others live, especially children and older citizens.
